Every woman has different ideas about her ideal breast shape. That’s why we take a lot of time for you in a detailed consultation. Together we will discuss your personal wishes and expectations, the ideal size and shape of your implants, your anatomical requirements and the procedure.
We will show you different implant sizes and explain which one best suits your body. We use special insertion bras to give you a realistic idea of the possible result. Of course, we will also answer all your questions – so that you feel safe and well prepared.
To ensure that the procedure is as gentle as possible, there are a few things you should bear in mind in the days leading up to it. If you are taking blood-thinning medication (e.g. aspirin), you should stop taking it for a few days after consulting your doctor. You will receive detailed instructions from us before the treatment so that you can prepare yourself ideally for the operation.
The treatment itself only takes about 30 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis under sedation. We make a small incision of just 2-2.5 cm in the underbust crease. The implant is placed through this incision in a way that is particularly gentle on the tissue.
Using a special Motiva inflatable balloon, we gently pre-stretch the tissue instead of cutting it. This preserves your natural breast structure.
The implants are inserted using a special insertion aid without coming into contact with the skin (no-touch technique). This significantly reduces the risk of infection.
Finally, we close the wound with particularly fine sutures that dissolve by themselves – this ensures a barely visible scar.
A major advantage of the Motiva Preservé™ method is the very fast recovery. You rest briefly after the operation and can often leave the clinic after just 90 minutes.
In the first few days, slight swelling or feelings of tightness in the breast are normal and usually subside quickly. After a few days, you can resume your normal daily routine.
You should refrain from sporting activities for about 2-4 weeks.
As the scar is very small and well hidden, it is barely visible after a few weeks.
We will check the healing process at regular follow-up appointments and are always available to answer your questions. Your well-being is our top priority.
The cost of a breast augmentation with Motiva Preservé™ depends on individual factors such as implant choice and specific patient needs. Our prices for breast augmentation generally start at CHF 13,500. You will receive a detailed cost plan during a personal consultation.
Aus welchem Material bestehen die Implantate?
What material are the implants made of?
How long does it take to heal?
Thanks to the minimally invasive technique, there is no traditional downtime. Many patients are fully able to bear weight again after just a few days and can go about their daily lives. Most swelling subsides within 2-4 weeks.
Is the procedure painful?
No, the method is particularly gentle and painless, as there is no incision in the chest muscles. During the operation you are in twilight sleep and feel nothing. Many patients report that they only experience a slight feeling of tension after the operation, which quickly subsides.
How does Motiva Preservé™ differ from the Mia® method?
With Motiva Preservé™, the incision is made in the underbust crease and the implants are placed using a tissue-sparing no-touch technique. With Mia Femtech™, access is via the armpit. In addition, Mia® uses special diamond-shaped implants, while Preservé™ relies on round Ergonomix2® implants. A larger cup size can also be achieved with the Motiva Preservé™ method than with Mia®.
When will I see the final result?
After about 2–4 weeks, the swelling will subside and your breasts will begin to feel softer and more natural. The final result is achieved after around 3–6 months.
How long does the result last?
Modern Motiva Ergonomix2® implants are designed to last a very long time. Replacement is not necessary in most cases, except in cases of medical necessity or personal preference. We recommend that you have your breasts checked regularly by ultrasound or medical examination. We are happy to offer you an implant check in our practice.
Do I have to replace my implants at some point?
As long as there are no medical reasons or personal wishes, the implants do not need to be replaced. Should you decide to resize or change your implants over the years, we will be happy to discuss this with you individually.
Can I breastfeed after the operation?
Yes, with the Motiva Preservé™ method, the breast tissue remains largely untouched, so that the ability to breastfeed is maintained in most cases. If you are planning a pregnancy, we will be happy to advise you on this topic.
Are there any risks with the Motiva Preservé™ method?
Every surgical procedure involves certain risks, but Motiva Preservé™ is considered particularly safe. The risk of infection is minimal thanks to the no-touch technique and tissue-sparing approach. Our experienced specialists do everything they can to offer you the best possible safety.
When can I do sports again?
Light physical activities (e.g. walks) are possible after just a few days. However, you should wait at least 4-6 weeks before doing intensive sport (e.g. strength training or jogging) to ensure optimal healing.
