Consultation

Preparation
About 2 weeks before the surgery, you should quit smoking to support the healing process as much as possible. Blood-thinning medications should also be discontinued a few days beforehand. Additionally, it’s important to regularly apply sunscreen several weeks before the treatment, as sunburn should be avoided at all costs.
Treatment
A Deep Plane Facelift is performed under general anesthesia and typically lasts 2–4 hours, depending on the scope of treatment.
Unlike a superficial facelift, the tissue beneath the SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) layer is elevated and repositioned.
