What is regenerative medicine?

Regenerative medicine includes all treatments that aim to repair, replace, or regenerate damaged tissues by supporting the body’s own healing processes or using biological therapies. We use natural bio-boosters to promote communication between cells, reduce micro-inflammation in the skin and stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. This leads to a cleaner and radiant complexion and can also smooth slight skin sagging and wrinkles or even achieve positive effects against hair loss.

For whom is regenerative medicine treatment suitable?

Regenerative medicine is particularly suitable for people whose skin aging has so far progressed slightly to moderately. It is also ideal as a preventive measure as well as for the treatment of scars and skin damage. Our organic beauty boosters offer well-tolerated and natural results. There is no risk of overtreatment or an unnaturally inflated appearance.

If skin sagging or other signs of aging are already very advanced, regenerative medicine may not be able to achieve the desired result. In such cases, other fillers or surgical measures may be a more suitable solution.

Where can regenerative medicine be used?

Regenerative medicine offers a wide range of applications, especially in aesthetics. It is suitable for various skin areas and tissue structures that are affected by aging processes, skin damage or other changes. The most important areas of application are:

  • Face
  • Neck and décolleté
  • Arms and legs
  • Hands
  • Scalp (in case of hair loss)

What beauty boosters are there?

The body’s natural self-healing powers can be used and activated in a variety of ways. Before each treatment, we carry out a detailed analysis of the current situation and your objectives. Based on this, we choose the right treatment method and the optimal beauty booster. Some of the best practices include:

Stem Cells/Nano Fat

Stem cells are found in various tissues of the human body. They can be obtained particularly well from bone marrow, placenta, umbilical cord and adipose tissue. The latter contains numerous stem cells as well as important components such as polynucleotides and exosomes.

The tissue is removed with a special cannula, the stem cells are removed and injected into the skin areas to be treated on the same day. No foreign substances are used. The treatment stimulates repair processes as well as collagen production.

Exosomes

Exosomes are tiny, vesicle-like structures surrounded by a lipid envelope. This stores energy and ensures the stability of the cell structure. However, the signals that released exosomes send to other cells are decisive.

In aesthetic medicine, we use exosomes to stimulate collagen formation, promote cell regeneration and improve skin quality and hair growth. Valuable ingredients such as microRNAs and polynucleotides play a central role in this.

PRF

PRF therapy is a further development of the well-known PRP treatment. A small amount of blood is taken from the patient and processed in a centrifuge. The result is a platelet-rich active ingredient that also contains stem cells and exosomes compared to the PRP method.

The active ingredient is injected into the skin with the finest needles, where it repairs damaged cells, stimulates collagen formation and improves skin elasticity.

Microneedling

In microneedling, fine needles are gently guided over the skin with a dermaroller or dermapen. This results in the smallest micro-injuries that activate the body’s own healing response. Growth factors are released and the production of elastin and collagen is stimulated. To optimize the results, we apply special active ingredients that contain additional growth factors immediately after the treatment.

Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides have an anti-inflammatory, antioxidant effect and promote the production of collagen and elastin. The beauty booster is extracted from the DNA of salmon and injected into the skin pure or mixed with hyaluronic acid.

Polydioxanone (PDO)

The biodegradable polydioxanone has long been used as a surgical suture and for thread lifts. It degrades within six months and stimulates collagen production. Thanks to modern microparticle technology, it can also be used as a filler and achieves very good results in skin tightening treatments.

How does regenerative medicine differ from conventional fillers?

Conventional fillers consist of chemically prepared substances that are injected into the skin. They provide quick results, but must be repeated after about 6 to 12 months to maintain their effects. Since these are chemical substances, there is a risk of unnatural results and overtreatment.

Natural bio-boosters, on the other hand, are based exclusively on the body’s own substances. The full effect usually only occurs after 4 to 6 months, but usually lasts longer than with fillers. The results are always natural.

Are there any side effects to regenerative medicine?

As with any medical treatment, mild side effects such as redness or swelling of the treated skin areas can occur in the field of regenerative medicine. However, these are usually minor and subside quickly. There is a low risk of allergic reactions when using active ingredients with non-endogenous substances.

How much does the treatment cost?

The cost varies depending on the treatment chosen. We will be happy to create an individual treatment plan for you. For orientation, you can use the following price ranges per session as a guide:

  • Nanofat/stem cells: Off 2000 CHF
  • Exosomes: Off 1000 CHF
  • Microneedling: Off 400 CHF
  • PRF treatment: Off 600 CHF
  • Biostimulators: Off 600 CHF
