Consultation
Before the treatment, our experts will perform a detailed analysis of your skin. During a consultation, we will discuss the optimal treatment areas and create your individual treatment program.
Precautions
We recommend that you do not take any blood-thinning medication for approximately two weeks prior to treatment. You should also refrain from consuming alcohol and nicotine during this time.
Treatment
The treatment takes approximately 15–30 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis. An anesthetic ointment can be applied beforehand on request. Unlike conventional hyaluronic acid injections, PROFHILO® is not injected directly under the wrinkles, but into the skin at precisely defined BAP points (Bio Aesthetic Points). This provides the tissue with new moisture over a large area and evenly.
As a result, wrinkles are lifted and smoothed, the skin tightens and looks fresher, younger and healthier overall. For optimal results, two sessions at 4-week intervals are generally recommended.
Aftercare
Most of our patients can resume their daily activities immediately after treatment. They are usually able to socialize again after just a few hours. Physical activity should be avoided for the first few days.
The effect of PROFHILO® injections lasts for around 6 months, depending on the individual condition of the skin, and can be refreshed as often as desired.
