Exosomes

Over time, our skin loses elasticity and vibrancy, which can lead to sagging areas of the skin, fine lines and the first signs of wrinkles. You may also notice pigmentation disorders, which are often caused by prolonged exposure to the sun. Not everyone is willing to simply accept these changes to the skin.

Our extensive experience allows us to specialise in a variety of skin rejuvenation procedures based on the latest cutting-edge technology. One of these procedures is a highly sought-after innovation in aesthetic medicine: advanced injection therapy with exosomes. This treatment is designed to stimulate rejuvenation of the skin in a natural way and may also have a positive effect on hair growth. We will gladly explain this method in detail to you.

What are exosomes?

Exosomes are tiny vesicles that are present in all human cells. They are the body’s endogenous cell products and play a key role in cell communication. These particles contain proteins and growth factors that, among other things, promote collagen production, which in turn contributes to improving skin texture, elasticity and moisture. Due to their ability to regenerate, they are used in aesthetic medicine to

  • improve skin quality,
  • promote tissue regeneration, and
  • support hair health.

Compared to invasive procedures such as surgical skin tightening, treatment with exosomes is a minimally invasive and particularly gentle alternative that only requires a short recovery time. This means that patients can resume their social activities immediately after the treatment. Please note, however, that research into exosomes is still in its early stages. Consequently, not all methods practised abroad are authorised in Switzerland yet. We will gladly provide you with detailed information on these aspects during a personal consultation.

Am I a suitable candidate for treatment with exosomes?

Exosome treatment is perfect for people who want to rejuvenate their skin or revitalise their hair without the risks of surgery. This method is safe and well tolerated.

For skin rejuvenation, exosomes promote cell regeneration, help reduce lines and wrinkles, and may reduce pigmentation, resulting in a revitalised appearance and a more balanced complexion.

For hair treatment, exosomes strengthen the hair follicles, reduce hair loss and revitalise brittle hair by supplying it with important nutrients.

Preparation for the treatment

In order to reduce the risk of side effects, we strongly recommend that our patients refrain from taking blood thinners (such as aspirin or paracetamol) approximately two weeks before the planned injection treatment. However, you should not stop taking these medications without first consulting a doctor. To ensure your health and safety, such adjustments to your medication should always be made in consultation with a healthcare professional.

The treatment process

Every treatment process at our clinic starts with a thorough consultation. We will discuss your expectations and check whether treatment with exosome injections is suitable for you. During this consultation, we will inform you about the course of the treatment as well as potential risks and side effects. We will also provide you with an idea of the expected treatment outcome.

The treatment itself usually takes about 30 minutes and is performed without anaesthetic. However, local anaesthesia can also be administered at your request. For the treatment, we use PRP (platelet-rich plasma) extracted from your blood and combine it with specifically designed herbal exosomes, which are then injected into the affected areas using a fine needle. You can leave the clinic immediately after the treatment and return to your daily activities.

Aftercare

After the treatment, you may notice slight swelling or redness in the treated areas. These symptoms are usually harmless and should disappear on their own within a short time. It may be beneficial to carefully cool the affected areas to alleviate discomfort and support the healing process. To achieve the best treatment result, it may be necessary to schedule several treatment sessions. These sessions are performed at set intervals to allow your skin to regenerate and realise the full potential of the treatment.

When can I expect to see results from the exosome treatment?

Typically, the first visible results of the treatment begin to appear after a few weeks and continue to improve over time. In most cases, you can expect the final results to last up to a year. The exact number of sessions recommended for you will be determined individually based on your personal treatment plan, which we will work out together during a thorough consultation. In order to meet your individual needs and expectations, we invite you to schedule a consultation with us. We can discuss in detail how we can achieve the best result for you and what steps are necessary to achieve this goal.

How much does exosome treatment cost in Zurich??

The cost of an exosome treatment at our clinic varies. It is based on the individual treatment goals and the number of sessions required. In general, prices start from a base value of CHF 800. To give you a precise idea of the expected costs, we will prepare a detailed cost projection for you in a personal consultation, during which we will jointly define the scope of your treatment and clarify all your questions about the process and the associated costs. This is the best way to ensure complete transparency and enable you to make an informed decision.
