icoone® Laser therapy requires little preparation and usually takes no more than an hour per session. However, in order to achieve the best results, you should follow some preparatory steps and be prepared for the process of treatment.

Preperation

Preparation for icoone® Laser Therapy begins with a detailed consultation in which your specific skin condition and individual wishes are discussed. As part of the preparation, you should avoid increased UV radiation and sunbathing as well as visits to the solarium at least four weeks before the therapy so as not to sensitize the skin additionally. In addition, avoid using skin care products that contain retinoids or acids in the run-up to the treatment, as these can cause skin irritation in combination with the laser.

Treatment

On the day of the treatment, come to us without makeup or creams so that the skin can be thoroughly cleansed and disinfected before starting laser therapy. The attending physician places the applicators of the icoone® Laser in the treatment area and then guides them precisely over the skin areas to be treated, adjusting the duration and intensity individually. The roller technology of the handpieces provides both a pleasant massage and drainage effect. We also take advantage of the thermal effect of the laser to soften stubborn fat cells, revitalize collagen and elastin production, and thus create a firmer, sculpted body contour.

Laser treatment is usually not painful and is perceived as pleasant by most patients. Accordingly, no risks are to be expected in the context of aftercare after the end of use. You can actively help to support a good result for your body by avoiding direct sunlight – we also recommend high UV protection – and using gentle, not too aggressive skincare products. We also recommend that you abstain from alcohol for about 48 hours after the treatment.
