Renuvion®, also known as J-Plasma, is a state-of-the-art technology used for skin tightening and body contouring in patients. This innovative treatment method combines the benefits of radiofrequency energy with the precision of plasma. By the targeted release of thermal energy, Renuvion® can tighten the skin, stimulate collagen production, and reduce excess fat tissue.
A significant advantage of Renuvion® is that it is minimally invasive and requires only minimal downtime. The precise control of energy delivery allows for the achievement of individual treatment goals, whether it is the tightening of loose skin in various body areas or the improvement of body contours.
This advanced technology provides patients with the opportunity to make aesthetic changes without undergoing extensive surgery. With Renuvion®, patients can achieve improved skin texture and a defined body shape, especially when combined with liposuction.
In the neck area, Renuvion® offers an ideal minimally invasive technology for patients without advanced signs of aging to improve the aesthetics of the neck/jawline area.

During the procedure, a fluid is injected into the tissue of the treated area to prevent pain and bleeding. This is followed by a local liposuction, which can be minimal or extensive, depending on the need. The insertion points for the cannulas are placed in areas that are barely visible. Using a special probe, the skin is tightened in several steps and layers. The insertion points are covered with bandages, and compression garments are put on immediately.
Severe complications and adverse events following treatment with Renuvion® are very rare. Occasionally, there may be temporary swelling or redness of the skin in the first few days after the procedure. Sensory disturbances can also occur, but these usually resolve. In the first few days after the procedure, there may be post-operative bleeding, as with any surgical intervention.
Within the first 6 weeks, individually tailored compression garments should be worn to support wound healing and skin contraction. Showering is possible from the second day after the procedure. The first follow-up is usually scheduled 2 weeks after the procedure, at which point a special lymphatic drainage (ICOONE) can begin to minimize swelling as early as possible. The recovery period varies for each patient, but generally, returning to work can be expected after 4-5 days for office work and about 10 days for physical labor. Intense physical activities and heavy lifting should be avoided for 5 weeks.
As with any cosmetic procedure, the costs for a Renuvion® tightening vary depending on the patient, location, skin condition, and tissue distribution. The cost primarily depends on the location of the treated area and whether it is combined with extensive liposuction.
Of course, all incurred costs for the procedure, anesthesia, and stay will be discussed and billed in advance to prevent any unexpected expenses.
Price for Renuvion® treatment: From 6,000 CHF depending on body area
